Social Media Manager
Job Brief
Olive Business Partners is a Virtual CFO firm that connects business owners with flexible, affordable, and high-quality financial expertise to drive business growth. We value growth, connection, excellence and integrity in all we do.
We are looking to bring on a professional social media manager to provide strategy, insights, and guidance for a more effective approach to our social media. Our primary social media channels are LinkedIn and Instagram, targeting small to mid-tier business owners in Australia with ambitions to scale.
Business Overview
To increase Olive Business Partners’ visibility, engagement, and lead generation on LinkedIn and Instagram, supporting business growth through a targeted social media strategy.
The role can be performed remotely.
Role Objective
Develop social media content pillars and a content strategy tailored to LinkedIn and Instagram.
Craft a content calendar for both platforms each month. While we currently post 5 times per week on Instagram and 3 times per week on LinkedIn, we’re open to adjusting the frequency based on strategic recommendations and performance data.
Design social media graphics and edit video content (eg. Direct-to-camera reels, B-roll footage), ensuring alignment with our brand guidelines for a consistent and professional visual identity across both platforms.
Repurpose audio and video podcast content and blog post content for social media.
Establish a monthly rhythm for content creation in collaboration with the business owner, which allows adequate time for review, feedback, video recordings and scheduling.
Schedule and post content on LinkedIn and Instagram. We currently use Plann for scheduling but are open to other tools.
Analyse content performance, identify actionable insights, and refine the strategy based on engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
Proactively recommend new content formats or themes that enhance engagement and align with emerging trends.
Note: The business owner will continue to respond directly to comments and direct messages.
